Tagged!!!!
Well, I just put Lauren down for a nap, so while I am enjoying a few minutes (it's only a matter of time before Macy wakes up now), of peace and quiet, I thought I'd respond to Jo's tag, (check it out here http://www.jeffjo.blogspot.com/), to tell 7 things about myself. It was kind of fun to try and think of things, at first I didn't think I'd be able to list 7, but then they just started to flow! So, here it goes...1....I love my family!!! First of all, I wonder on a daily basis how I was lucky enough to marry Nate, but I'll take him for as long as I can get him. I don't know how else to describe him other than saying that he is such a stud. He is an amazing daddy to our little girls too. Lauren and Macy are the joys of my life, I absolutely love staying home with them. They definitely keep a smile on my face. I love them to death.2....I love the gospel, and have a strong testimony of it. I am so grateful to potentionally be able to have an eternal family. What else matters?3....We recently moved, and I have to say I love my house. We were so fortunute to be able to move to a great area with awesome neighbors and friends and a great ward. I don't ever want to leave!4....I love to read. Nate would say "I like to ride, you like to read." I really like both, just reading a little more. I'll read pretty much anything I can and I always love recommendations from people...hint, hint...send some my way! This may also be the only thing that my girls could inherit from me, since they're like Nate in every other way, (I'm not complaining about that). So far, they both show interest...who knows!5....I had to save my extended family for a separate one. I have been so lucky to not only be born into a great family, but to marry into one as well. I love my family so much and love being close to all of them too. I've definitely been blessed with great friends in my life too.6....I was born with a travel bug, and luckily Nate got it too. We've been to a lot of great places together...NYC, DC, San Fran, Italy, & Switzerland to name a few, we leave for Hawaii next month to visit Ben & Tawni, hopefully the list will continue to grow!7....Lastly, I love to cook. That doesn't mean that I'm good at it, but I can't really begin to describe the warm fuzzy I get when Nate tells me he likes something I've made. One of the greatest complements I hope to recieve someday will be for him to tell me that I've matched my mom's cooking. She is a pro to say the least, so it would really be a miracle for me to get to that level...a girl can dream, right? There is it.So, anyone who reads this and wants to participate, please do. It was fun. I'd love to read about Kendra, Brit, Britt, Jen, Mom, Josie, Ashley, Betsey, and anyone else who wants to share!

Naked Baby Alert!!
Tuesday night we had a fun Bar-b-que with some friends, then came home to get the girls in bed, but Macy smelled like mosquito repellent, so we decided to give her a 'quick' bath. It turned into a little party in our sink. It was too cute, so we had to share some pics. Plus we wanted you to see how she's starting to lose her baby fat...we are sooo sad!!

First Day of School!
Hi Everyone! Today was my first day of 2nd grade!!
I was a little bit nervous and it was hard to leave my mom, sister Taryn, and Jesse but I like my teacher Miss McIlroy and it was good to see some of my old friends again.
Here's a recent picture of my cute sister Taryn. She's starting to smile a little. She can't wait to meet all of you!!

Hey everyone!!! It's been so fun seeing everyone's pictures! It looks like it's been a great summer so far. Taryn is absolutely beautiful. These were the first pictures we've been able to see and we're looking forward to holding her in a couple weeks. We can't tell you how excited we are for Bear Lake! For the first time I'm actually feeling a little family sick and can't wait to spend some time with all of you. I know Landon's craving the lake. It will feel like the reward at the end of all this sacrifice.

This next pic is just a picture of us heading out the door for church. I just wanted you all to see your extremely hot brother! Yes we cut his hair! I love it (and yes Landon does too)! Yes I kind of talked him into it and kind of forced him. But he's had the same hair since 7th grade and it really needed an update. Jan, it's nice and short just how you like it, with a little 21st century flare. He is one good looking guy if I may say so myself!

We're were blessed with the opportunity to go to Nauvoo this past week. We did a session at the temple and caught the Nauvoo pagent. What a spiritual place! The music in the pagent was incredible, but we both agree that our favorite part was Carthage jail. This is us in front of the temple and at carthage jail. We'll have to tell you more about it when we get home, but we are so glad we were able to fit it into our summer.
This first pic is of us at the Des Moines Cubs game on the 4th of July. We had one of the best days together. Landon took work off. We went to Transformers, did some shopping :), and then went to the game. Hands down the best fireworks we've ever seen. It was great!
